To keep momentum strong, we’re looking for a strategic operator who can forecast demand across all channels and make sure we’re always stocked to sell—never too much, never too little.
Role Overview
We’re hiring a Supply Chain Forecasting Strategist to own and optimize our demand forecasting across Amazon, Shopify, TikTok Shops, and retail. You’ll use historical sales, promo calendars, velocity trends, and marketing inputs to build smart, accurate forecasts that power purchase decisions and keep products flowing.
This is a data-heavy role with a strategic impact. You’ll be in the center of the action—connecting brand, ops, and marketing to ensure we scale efficiently across multiple channels. Key Responsibilities
- Forecast product demand across Amazon, Shopify (DTC), & TikTok Shops
- Analyze sales data, historical trends, and upcoming promos to build rolling forecasts
- Own forecasting models and update dashboards to support weekly and monthly planning
- Collaborate with operations and marketing to align on purchase quantities and timelines
- Build purchase plans based on MOQ, lead times, and campaign needs
- Monitor real-time performance and adjust forecasts based on actuals vs. plan
- Support new product launches with scenario modeling and initial buy recommendations
- Identify potential overstock/understock risks early and flag solutions
- Present forecast-driven insights in S&OP meetings and strategic planning session
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Forecast Accuracy – ≥85% forecast accuracy for top SKUs
- Stockout Rate – Maintain <3% monthly stockout rate
- Inventory Turnover – Target 6–8 inventory turns annually
- Days of Inventory on Hand (DOH) – Maintain 30–45 DOH across all major channels
- Forecast to PO Match – 95% alignment between demand plan and submitted PO
Success Benchmarks (30-60-90 Days)
First 30 Days
- Audit existing forecasting models and tools
- Review sales data and supply plans across all active brands
- Meet with brand and marketing leads to understand demand drivers
First 60 Days
- Deliver first round of updated forecasts with clear assumptions and alignment
- Support one reorder cycle or new product with a complete forecast + PO plan
- Build out a simple but effective forecasting dashboard that integrates across platforms
First 90 Days
- Achieve 85%+ accuracy on top 10 SKUs
- Own monthly forecast cadence with marketing and ops
- Surface 2–3 key insights or opportunities to improve forecasting precision or planning lead time
Required Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have Skills:
- 3+ years in supply chain forecasting, demand planning, or eCommerce inventory management
- Strong command of Excel/Google Sheets for modeling and dashboarding
- Familiarity with Amazon (FBA/FBM), Shopify, and TikTok Shops logistics and sales patterns
- Strong analytical skills with experience aligning forecasts to real-world ops
- Ability to own numbers, communicate clearly, and operate with autonomy
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with Inventory Planner, Anvyl, or other forecasting tools
- Background in CPG, wellness, supplements, or beauty categories
- Understanding of freight timelines, warehousing, or global logistics
- SQL or BI tool knowledge (Looker, Power BI, etc.
