Role Overview
We’re looking for a Creative Strategist with at least 3+ years of experience to lead the production of direct-response-style video ads that deliver real results. This is a full-time, fully remote role for someone with a proven background in direct response, creative production, and media buying strategy.
The ideal candidate knows how to blend persuasive storytelling with performance data, work closely with creators and editors, and bring fresh, test-worthy ideas to life. Familiarity with motion graphics workflows, Notion, ClickUp, and AI tools is a must — we’re scaling fast and need someone who can systematize, analyze, and optimize creative output across multiple brands.
Key Responsibilities
✍️ Write High-Converting Video Scripts – Craft direct response scripts with strong hooks, tight storytelling, and compelling CTAs
🧠 Create Briefs for Creators & Designers – Deliver clear, actionable briefs tailored to brand tone, platform formats, and campaign objectives
🎥 Source, Negotiate & Collaborate with UGC Creators – Find and manage content creators, ensuring timely and quality content delivery
📊 Analyze Creative Performance – Use data from Meta, YouTube, Applovin, and Snapchat to iterate on creatives and boost hit rate
🎞 Storyboard and Conceptualize Creatives – Plan visual narratives and work with motion editors to bring ads to life
💡 Pitch New Creative Ideas Weekly – Lead ideation for new angles, formats, and hooks to test across platforms
⚙️ Implement Creative Systems & Use AI Tools – Leverage Notion, ClickUp, and AI-powered tools to streamline processes and scale output
🤝 Collaborate Cross-Functionally – Partner with media buyers, editors, and brand teams to align messaging with performance goals
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
📦 Creative Volume: Brief and produce 15–20 unique creative tickets per week, each with multiple variation angles
🎯 Hit Rate: % of creatives that meet key campaign metrics such as ROAS, CPA, and engagement benchmarks
📈 CTR Improvement: Drive click-through rate increases across Meta, YouTube, Applovin, and other platforms
🚀 Creative Iteration: Rapidly test, refine, and relaunch creative based on data insights — quality at scale
Required Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have Skills:
✅ 3+ years in a direct response or performance creative strategy role
✅ Strong copywriting skills for VSLs, UGC ads, and scroll-stopping hooks
✅ Proficient in storyboarding, scripting, and concept development
✅ Deep understanding of creative metrics and how they impact media buying
✅ Experienced in using Notion, ClickUp, and AI tools to manage creative workflows
✅ Familiar with video editing/motion graphics pipelines and editor collaboration
✅ Background in media buying or working closely with paid ad teams
Nice-to-Have Skills:
✨ Experience managing freelancers and UGC creators
✨ Knowledge of ad creative trends for TikTok, Meta, YouTube, etc.
✨ Understanding of compliance and ad platform policies
